The National Capital Flight’s 15th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament is Thursday, 6 April 2017 at the Fort Belvoir Golf Course. The Tournament is in conjunction with the Daedalians National Convention 6-8 April 2017 at the Marriott Crystal Gateway. Women are welcomed.
The format is a Scramble (Captain’s Choice) play with Shotgun Start at 1400 on the Fort Belvoir Woodlawn Course. Check-in is between 12:30 and 1:30. Free range balls are available on the driving range.
Players can pay the day of play or include the $100 with their National Convention registration. The $100 entry fee includes green fee, cart, range balls, box lunch and prizes. The fee includes an “Old Shaky” Incentive Package plus a $5 “50-50” raffle ticket. The proceeds go to the scholarship fund.

Box lunches are being provided prior to play due to the Commander’s Reception at National Convention 6:00 – 8:30 PM. Some prizes are to be awarded at the Ft Belvoir Golf Glub immediately following play and others during the Commander’s Reception at the Marriott Crystal Gateway.
Note the Army policy for gate access to the post. Guests without Military or DOD identification can enter the post with someone who has Military or DOD identification, but the guests still need some form of ID ie. Driver’s license.
Enter through the John Kingman Road Gate off US-286 Fairfax County Parkway. Then, turn left at the first light onto Beulah St to the Ft Belvoir Golf Course
Guests without DoD ID entering separately need to provide Dick Guild with their name and driver’s license by 1 April 2017. The list to facilitate entry will be with the guards at the Kingman Gate.
