Cadet Chrystal Quinones, Sr Del Valle HS JrAFROTC 2009 Cadet Benjamin Temple, UT AFROTC, Commissioned in 2010 had pilot slot but finished high in Combat Rescue officer selection, turned over pilot slot and became a combat rescue officer Cadet James Ramirez, TSU AFROTC, Commissioned May 2011, has pilot slot 2010 MIDN Chris Smith, UT NROTC, He competed for a pilot slot but unfortunatel did graduate. Cadet Travis Vanover, UT AFROTC commissioned in May 2011, Graduated from pilot training. 2011 MIDN John Goodrich, UT NROTC Cadet Matthew W. Brown, UT AFROTC, 5 year Senior, Applied for pilot slot and should know by March. 2012 MIDN Mark Jbeily, UT NROTC, MIDN Mark Jbeily is a junior who is excelling academically and professionally. He is participating in an exchange program this semester at GWU NROTC to allow him to complete a very competitive internship in Washington DC concurrently. MIDN Jenna Fechner, UT NROTC, Junior 2013 Cadet Justin Gallenstein, UT AFROTC, Junior, Applied for pilot slot and should know by March. Cadet Jacob Drinkard, TSU AFROTC, Senior Scholarships: The scholarship balance is $8844.46 which includes a $1000 donation from LtGen Knight. Daedalian Scholarship Awards by Year Current as of September , 2013 2011 1. Brandon S. Stout, UT, AFROTC, He was eliminated from IFS (Initial Flight Screening) and is now a Contracting officer. 2. John Goodrich, UT, NROTC, Graduated and commissioned with a pilot training slot. 2012 1. Andres Cepeda, UT AFROTC, Is a senior this year and was selected as an ALO (Air Liaison Officer), whose primary duties are to talk directly to the pilots to call in airpower in support of ground operations. 2. Jenna Fechner, UT NROTC, Is a junior, but transferred to the Army ROTC unit, and still seeks a career in aviation. 2013 1. Michelle Solsbery, St. EdwardÂ’s, UT AFROTC, Is a junior this year, and she is doing great in the program. Will compete for a pilot slot this coming January with results being released in March. 2. Rand B. Fowler, UT AFROTC, Is a junior this year, and also is doing well in the ROTC program. He will compete for a pilot slot this coming January with results being released March.
